Nowadays this technological tandem with banks is used in the limited number of restaurants, especially when these systems are integrated to the CRM. The introduction of this ICT system at the Hard Rock Café seems a simple technology; however, it is possible to dramatically expand the café’s opportunities, by organizing joint events with the leading banks.

This system do not just support a cashless form of payment, but also keep a record of regular and corporate customers, allowing cafe to operate the system of discounts and bonuses to support remote access clients to create requisitions and purchase orders.     I think that banking system, as an important element of ICT could be applied in the museum as well. Actually, with the credit card becoming popular in all over the world, fewer people prefer to pay by cash, so that the museums keep in pace with fashion to use the banking system. the POS machine service is a common use of banking system of ICT.

    With the widespread use of ICT, the increasing number of restaurant and cafe prefer to offer membership card and identify their members by use of RFID system, in order to create a greater sense of loyalty and organizational commitment.

    Indeed, the trendy restaurants designed their cards as deposit card. The customers could deposit a amount of money in the membership card, so that they would consume from the money in their membership cards.

    After all, I suggest that the museums and galleries to cooperate with the luxury restaurants and cafes. They could make a club, and launch their membership cards, so that their members could consume the money in their membership cards in many places.

    1. Hey Coco, thanks for your response. I like your example of using RFID in restaurants. This system is coming more and more popular day by day. I think that using RFID technology, the hospitality industry can:
      1) provide comfort and convenience to the consumer without the guest provider being present face to face; 2) use upcoming technological advances; 3) store large amounts of information used for consumer services; and 4) create consumer preferences. Considering the connection between banking system and RFID i can say that RFID technology has many uses and these applications are being adapted to the restaurants. In my opinion there are four broad areas of RIFD application in the restaurants, which are:
      1) customer loyalty systems; 2) tracking systems; 3) contactless payment systems; and 4) information devices. All these RFID applications are connected with the banking system, that is why I think that banking system can be used in whole hospitality industry, as well as RFID.

      To my surprise, the use of RFID is very wide. It could be used on the human resource department by punch the clock in order to check every employee work on time. In addition, the use of RFID system for the storage management could record each item in and out. As a result, it could avoid the several criminal behaviors, such as theft.

    I agree with you that Banking system can be applied in the whole hospitality and tourism industry. Actually, the Banking system is one of the most universal technology system used in hospitality and tourism industry. Nowadays, with the development of E-Commerce in tourism industry, Banking system has become a essential ICT element which supports customers to pay online. In hospitality industry, it is an important part of reservation system.
